Dr. Jeffrey Wnuk is a general dentist who has been providing comprehensive dental care to patients in private practice for over a decade. Dr. Jeff prides himself on a high-touch approach to dental care, as well as educating his patients at every step of their procedures.
Dr. Jeff is a graduate of Boston University with both a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree and a Master’s of Science degree in dental public health. Upon graduation, Dr. Jeff trained at Fenway Health, a Lutheran Medical Residency program site in Boston, MA. Beyond clinical practice, he actively participated in community outreach, research, and providing dental care to an underserved patient population while in Boston.
Upon returning home to his native Rhode Island, Dr. Jeff worked within a multi-specialty practice setting. He credits great mentorship and a progressive educational mindset allowing his skillset to grow into complex esthetics dentistry cases and dental surgical procedures. This collaborative approach to comprehensive dental care has continued with him to Stonington Dental Associates.
Dr. Jeff is an active member in Spear, Shoreline Periodontics, and Anchor Orthodontics study clubs and stays on the forefront of a progressive technological approach to digital dentistry.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Jeff has held rewarding and fulfilling clinical professor appointments at both CCRI and Goodwin University’s dental hygiene programs. In addition to education, Dr. Jeff has consulted with multiple dental consulting firms in the space, including a successful tech start-up in Tele-dentistry. Lastly, Dr. Jeff enjoyed a successful business development role with a regional dental service organization serving as a liaison between the company’s founding partners and regional dentists approaching their retirement and exit from the field.
Outside of dentistry, Jeff loves spending time with his wife, Elizabeth, and their French bulldog, Winston. Dr. Jeff is a fan of all sports, and enjoys cooking.
